The Marketing Operations and Events Manager at SmartBank plays an essential role in maintaining the integrity and impact of the bank’s marketing efforts across multiple markets. This full-time position entails overseeing marketing operations to ensure brand consistency, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic business objectives. The role involves managing marketing budgets, tracking expenses, coordinating communications, and spearheading events, sponsorships, and community engagement activities. Reporting directly to the Corporate Marketing Director, the manager supports market leadership by delivering high-quality marketing materials and communications that reinforce SmartBank's brand standards and business development goals.
Responsibilities include overseeing the production and distribution of marketing collateral, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate inventory control. This role also involves coordinating client communications such as e-blasts, mailings, and branch signage updates, as well as leading event planning and execution, including vendor management and on-site logistics. The Marketing Operations and Events Manager is tasked with managing budgets, reconciling expenses, and providing insightful reporting to executive leadership. Job Duties

- Oversees the production, ordering, and distribution of marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency, quality, and availability across all markets
- Manages relationships with approved vendors, print partners, and apparel providers to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to brand standards
- Maintains accurate inventory levels of marketing and branch materials
- Coordinates with branch and market leadership to ensure appropriate use and distribution of materials
- Coordinates and executes client communications including e-blasts, mailings, and operational notices
- Manages communication support for branch operations including schedules, updates, and signage
- Assists in delivery of corporate communications and executive messaging
- Leads planning and execution of marketing events, sponsorships, and community initiatives
- Serves as a liaison to Market Leaders for event coordination and support
- Manages logistics including timelines, vendors, and onsite execution
- Tracks and manages marketing budgets and event expenses
- Reconciles transactions and maintains accurate reporting records
- Provides reporting insights to leadership
