Job Description
One Workplace and Porter are innovative leaders in workplace design and operations, dedicated to helping organizations create environments where employees can excel. By integrating strategy, design, furniture, construction, and workplace hospitality, they deliver thoughtfully crafted and high-performing office spaces that are both energizing and distinctly human. Their approach to creating workplaces blends the best of design and hospitality to foster environments that support employee well-being, productivity, and engagement. They prioritize inclusion and diversity, committing to empathetic leadership and diverse talent representation at all levels. One Workplace and Porter aim to cultivate a culture where barriers to employment are removed and career growth opportunities are abundant. They uphold equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, national origin, age, citizenship, and other status factors.
The company is currently seeking a Marketing Manager based in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid work model and day shift hours Monday through Friday. Offering a competitive salary between $110,000 and $120,000 annually, this full-time role focuses on amplifying the company's sales efforts, brand presence, and client value proposition. The Marketing Manager acts as the essential link between sales ambitions and brand expression, ensuring the company presents a clear, confident, and compelling case in all pursuits. This role specializes in leading the development of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and managing sales-enablement tools tailored to corporate furniture and technology solutions.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in boosting business wins by translating complex solutions into persuasive, succinct narratives that resonate with clients and decision-makers. Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire corporate furniture and technology RFP process—from initial evaluation to submission—while coaching pursuit teams on narrative design, visual storytelling, and presentation delivery. Tracking key performance indicators through the company’s CRM system is also critical, enabling data-driven decision-making to improve pursuit outcomes. The Marketing Manager fosters a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and learning from both wins and losses.
Further duties involve creating and maintaining engaging sales tools such as pitch decks, playbooks, and brochures to support sales teams, benchmarking these materials regularly to keep them current and competitive. Sharing best practices with the marketing team ensures unified and consistent messaging across the organization. The ideal candidate brings 7 to 10 years of experience in sales enablement, proposal management, or marketing within the architecture and design (A&D), furniture, or related service sectors. Strong storytelling skills across written, visual, and live presentation forms, proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint, Figma, and collaboration suites are required. This person must also be a proven collaborator who can seamlessly switch between high-level strategic thinking and tactical execution. Experience managing people with a coaching mindset enhances the candidate’s suitability for this role.
One Workplace and Porter offer notable employee benefits including 15 days of paid time off, nine paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching contributions, paid parental leave, wellness app reimbursements up to $500 per year, and profit sharing opportunities. They encourage interested candidates who meet these qualifications to apply with their resumes to join a company dedicated to creating vibrant, inclusive workspaces.
