As a Marketing Manager for Healthcare and Life Sciences at AWS, you will play a pivotal role in elevating AWS’s presence within this critical industry segment. In this position, you will lead the planning and execution of high-visibility AWS events including first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) conferences, ensuring these events effectively showcase AWS’s unique value proposition in healthcare and life sciences.

Your responsibilities will extend to developing event strategies that drive engagement and deliver compelling experiences featuring senior AWS executives and key customers. This includes crafting keynote speeches, fireside chats, executive roundtables, and breakout sessions tailored to highlight AWS’s leadership in healthcare technology innovation. Collaborating across multiple teams such as web content, demand generation, field marketing, and central events, you will help spearhead global marketing campaigns that amplify AWS’s impact across the industry.

The role demands strong multi-stakeholder coordination skills, including managing relationships with internal teams like product marketing, executive communications, sales, and partners, as well as external vendors and customers. You will utilize data and customer feedback to optimize event strategies, measure marketing effectiveness, and ensure continuous improvement. Experience in producing executive-level event experiences and a passion for healthcare and life sciences will be key to your success.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing or related field
  • proven track record in event planning and execution
  • strong understanding of the healthcare and life sciences industry
  • excellent communication and project management skills
  • ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • experience with data-driven marketing strategies
  • comfort working in fast-paced high-stakes environments

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • experience building executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • experience producing marketing promotional material for owned and operated channels
  • experience utilizing systems and tools involving email web analytics and CRM such as Marketo Tableau Salesforce etc for targeting segmentation reporting for demand generation

Job Duties

  • Own end-to-end planning coordination and execution of AWS presence at large-scale 1P and 3P industry events in partnership with central event teams
  • plan and execute marketing initiatives at industry events to showcase messaging content keynotes and breakout sessions that land AWS’s HCLS value proposition
  • manage high-visibility event moments involving senior AWS and customer executives including keynotes fireside chats and executive roundtables
  • develop event content strategies that highlight AWS’s healthcare and life sciences differentiation and customer success stories
  • partner with other marketing teams such as web content campaigns demand generation field teams and central events to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives
  • coordinate across internal teams including product marketing executive communications sales partner and external vendors to deliver seamless event experiences
  • drive post-event measurement and reporting to continuously measure and optimize marketing initiatives quantifying impact and informing future event strategy
  • partner with customer references and advocacy teams to secure high-impact customer speakers and stories for events
