The Marketing Manager position at Grand Chateau is a pivotal role responsible for managing the marketing workforce and driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives. In this role, the Marketing Manager leads day-to-day marketing activities, focusing on workforce development, performance management, and team motivation. The manager delegates work efficiently and oversees recruitment, training, coaching, and conflict resolution within the marketing team. A key element of the role is to analyze marketing data and reports to monitor team performance and identify opportunities for enhancing tour generation. The Marketing Manager works closely with sales management and sales teams to communicate marketing strategies effectively and build strong working relationships that support shared goals.
The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives, including budgeting, goal setting, and forecasting. They will create programs to increase traffic flow and generate leads, coordinating efforts across different marketing channels and sites. The role involves regular monitoring of production metrics such as confirmation rates, experiences per guest, volume per guest, close rates, and employee satisfaction to ensure marketing efforts meet or exceed expectations.
Additionally, the Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining collaboration across multiple departments, including resort operations and external vendors, to optimize the marketing approach. Leadership skills are essential as the manager conducts team meetings, sets performance goals, and drives motivation through contests, recognition programs, and incentive plans. Coaching and mentoring marketing executives is critical, with ongoing performance reviews and individual development plans to foster career growth and enhance team capabilities.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years marketing management experience
- Proficiency in English reading and writing
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to travel 20 to 50 percent
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work closely with the public in sales and marketing settings
