We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel, Omaha’s premier boutique hotel. The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the hotel’s marketing strategies, driving brand awareness, and increasing market share through innovative campaigns across traditional, digital, and social media channels.

This position demands a strategic leader with exceptional self-management skills, an ability to anticipate stakeholder needs, and a proactive approach to evolving marketing practices to ensure the hotel remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with different departments within the hotel and the broader Kimpton brand marketing team, both at the property and corporate levels, to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive property-level marketing plans and creating synergies between hotel leaders, above-property teams, and brand partners. This collaborative effort aims to foster thoughtful partnerships, programming, and activations that resonate with target audiences, driving consumer preference and building brand recognition for the hotel. The role emphasizes promoting the hotel’s property features and Food & Beverage programs to a wide range of audiences, including hotel guests, local patrons, and destination visitors.

The ideal candidate will bring three to five years of hotel marketing experience, adeptness at managing relationships with external agencies, and proven skills in paid digital marketing and copywriting. Familiarity with HTML and proficiency in Adobe design software, alongside a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, are also required. Mastery of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn is essential for executing impactful campaigns. These skills, combined with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, will empower the Senior Marketing Manager to effectively represent the hotel and elevate its brand presence.
