Job Description

D.R. Horton, Inc., established in 1978, is the largest homebuilder in the United States, publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The company specializes in the construction and sale of high-quality homes primarily targeting the entry-level and first-time move-up markets. In addition to homebuilding, D.R. Horton provides comprehensive mortgage financing and title services through its affiliated subsidiaries, reinforcing its commitment to offering a full spectrum of services to homebuyers. With a strong national presence and a solid reputation for quality and customer service, D.R. Horton continues to lead the residential construction industry by blending innovation, quality craftsmanship, and customer-centric solutions. Their corporate ethos focuses on building communities that serve a diverse range of families and individuals, helping people across the country realize the dream of homeownership.

D.R. Horton is currently seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager to join their team at the Albuquerque, New Mexico location. This full-time position plays a critical role in driving the company's marketing strategies and initiatives to support home sales, lead generation, community visibility, and brand consistency within the division. The Marketing Manager will oversee daily marketing operations across both digital and traditional channels, ensuring effective communication and brand representation. The role requires collaboration with various departments including Sales, Operations, Corporate Marketing, and external vendors to meet divisional business objectives.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for formulating and executing divisional marketing plans, managing advertising strategies and promotional campaigns that resonate with target audiences. This position demands expertise in coordinating the creation, approval, and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, signage, flyers, digital advertisements, email marketing campaigns, and sales support collateral. Managing digital marketing activities is a key component, including maintaining website updates, overseeing online listings, managing paid advertising campaigns, coordinating social media efforts, and implementing lead generation programs in partnership with Corporate Marketing.

By monitoring and evaluating marketing campaign performance, website traffic, lead conversion rates, and advertising effectiveness, the Marketing Manager will provide actionable insights and recommend adjustments to maximize impact. This role also involves managing relationships with external vendors including advertising agencies, printers, photographers, and digital service providers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Budget administration is a core responsibility, requiring the Marketing Manager to review and maintain marketing budgets, process invoices, track expenditures, and guarantee compliance with approved budgets and purchasing protocols.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Construction, Land, and Operations is essential to support community open houses, inventory home marketing, and market-specific sales initiatives. The Marketing Manager ensures all marketing efforts align with company branding standards, Fair Housing requirements, licensing laws, and relevant legal guidelines, thereby protecting the company's brand integrity and legal compliance. Analytical skills are needed for assessing competitive market activity, consumer trends, and local market conditions to assist leadership with informed marketing decisions and positioning strategies.

The role also supports strategic planning for new community launches and manages the product mix to optimize market appeal and streetscape diversity. Participation in promotional events, realtor functions, and other brand awareness activities will be expected to foster community engagement. The Marketing Manager prepares and delivers detailed performance reports, tracks key marketing metrics, supports MLS-related activities, and upholds professionalism and ethical standards in all business interactions to enhance customer satisfaction and company profitability.

Supervisory responsibilities include managing a team of two or more employees, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the success of marketing initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional with experience in residential homebuilding or related fields to join a Fortune 500 company with a strong growth trajectory and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee wellbeing and career development. If you are a results-driven individual with a passion for marketing and community building, D.R. Horton invites you to build your future with them, embraced by a culture that values teamwork and excellence.
