The Marketing Intern position with a focus on Corporate Events is a unique opportunity within AMAROK’s dynamic marketing team. This role is critical to successfully planning, organizing, and executing impactful corporate and customer events that help elevate AMAROK’s brand presence and customer engagement. The intern will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales and operations to source premium venues and vendors, manage event logistics and registration, and ensure seamless project execution. This internship requires a highly organized and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.

The role encompasses assisting in vendor communications, managing event timelines and budgets, supporting travel and accommodation logistics, and contributing to the overall guest experience. The intern will gain hands-on experience with vendor negotiations, contract coordination, attendee communications, and post-event reporting, including collecting metrics and vendor feedback. This position offers exposure to a broad range of marketing activities and an opportunity to develop essential project management and event coordination skills.

This internship is designed for candidates currently pursuing a marketing degree or related fields who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting. Working approximately 10-15 hours per week in-office, the intern will have the chance to contribute to significant marketing initiatives while growing their practical experience. Job Duties

  • Source and request proposals from hotels, event venues, catering companies, transportation providers, and other vendors
  • assist in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract coordination to ensure high-quality event experiences
  • assist and maintain event registration systems, including attendee communications, data accuracy, and reporting
  • support project management of multiple concurrent events - tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • support and organize logistics such as travel, accommodations, and transportation lists for attendees and staff
  • maintain detailed event documentation, ensuring all moving parts are aligned across teams and vendors
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm event needs, branding standards, and guest experiences are met
  • manage vendor communications before, during, and after events to ensure smooth execution and follow-up
  • assist with on-site event coordination and post-event reporting, including metrics and vendor feedback
  • support the Corporate Events team in developing materials and messaging to promote events
