We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Events Professional to join our dynamic Demand Generation Team. This role is pivotal in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of internal and external events, including industry trade shows, conferences, and major corporate gatherings such as the Verint Global Sales Kickoff, the Engage Conference, and Verint-hosted Summits. As an essential member of our marketing team, the individual in this position will utilize their expertise in event strategy, logistics, stakeholder engagement, and budget management to deliver exceptional event experiences that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
The Marketing Events Professional will be responsible for developing detailed event marketing strategies that support the objectives of the Americas Marketing Campaigns team, ensuring all events comply with best practices while effectively engaging customers and sales teams. The role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while negotiating and collaborating with a wide range of internal teams and external vendors. This position will require availability to provide onsite consultation and support before, during, and after events, including weekends if necessary.
In addition to executing high-impact trade shows and conferences, this role offers opportunities to contribute to the planning and execution of large-scale internal events that drive sales and foster collaboration across Verint’s business units. The candidate will play a critical role in measuring event ROI by collecting pipeline data, generating post-event reports, and using participant feedback to continuously enhance future event strategies and processes. Budget management is also a key responsibility, requiring strict adherence to Verint’s procurement and financial protocols while seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years marketing or event planning experience
- Experience managing complex events with multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in vendor negotiation
- Ability to adapt between planning and execution phases
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent project management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Successful background screening
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years in marketing or event logistics, including contracting, scheduling, and speaker management
- Experience managing complex events with multiple stakeholders
- Skilled in vendor negotiation and relationship management
- Strong teamwork, communication, and social media skills
- Willingness to travel to events and conferences
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong project management with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Successful background screening including employment verification and criminal background checks
- Experience with CVENT and Salesforce preferred
- Familiarity with Wrike project management tool is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop and implement detailed event marketing strategies aligned with Americas Marketing Campaigns team objectives
- Maintain and update an annual calendar of trade shows and conferences
- Manage all logistical aspects of events including tradeshows, industry events, virtual conferences, and in-person functions
- Serve as the primary contact for internal teams and external vendors during assigned events
- Communicate event updates, timelines, and produce comprehensive post-event reports
- Provide onsite support and consultation during events, including availability on weekends
- Collaborate with Campaign and Creative teams to create branded event materials and assets
- Manage vendor relationships, invoice reconciliation, and inventory for event materials
- Monitor and optimize event budgets, ensuring compliance with procurement and financial protocols
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Support projects related to Verint Americas Sales Kickoff and assist Director and Sr. Director of Events as needed
