Job Description

Sales Engine International is a B2B sales acceleration company dedicated to helping businesses find, connect with, and engage their prospects through innovative sales strategies. Our unique sales acceleration engine combines world-class marketing technology, award-winning creative services, and strategic guidance from senior sales and marketing executives to deliver measurable results for our clients. We pride ourselves on being a dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to driving success for the companies we serve. As an employer, Sales Engine International values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, ensuring a supportive and inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, veteran status, or disability. Our operations are focused within the United States, requiring U.S. citizenship with no relocation offered.

The Marketing Events Manager at Sales Engine International plays a pivotal role within our marketing team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing. This position is essential for conveying the value of our brand message effectively through the planning, organization, and execution of live events. These events include not only sponsored third-party tradeshows but also our own regional events designed to engage our target audiences and enhance our market presence. The role demands a creative and experienced individual capable of handling all facets of event management with precision and strategic insight.

As our Marketing Events Manager, you will collaborate closely with various internal departments to define clear event objectives and develop implementation plans that align with marketing goals. You will be instrumental in determining event budgets in partnership with marketing leadership, creatively allocating resources to maximize event impact. Communication will be key, as you coordinate with internal teams to prepare speakers and supporting staff, managing logistics including travel and accommodations.

Your responsibilities will extend to managing relationships and contracts with vendors, suppliers, and external business partners such as third-party tradeshow facilitators, creative agencies, destination management companies, and audiovisual services. Oversight of collateral inventory and coordination with creative production teams for new promotional materials will ensure that branding is consistent and compelling. Additionally, you will handle transportation logistics for event materials and technology.

A vital part of your role includes working with marketing colleagues and external PR firms to promote event attendance and participation. This involves sourcing and selecting premium giveaway items for event attendees to enhance engagement and brand recall. Your presence at events will facilitate smooth operations and quick resolution of any arising issues, ensuring successful outcomes.

Post-event activities are equally important. You will lead the post-event follow-up collaboration with sales and marketing teams, analyze event performance, compile participant feedback, and conduct budget reconciliation to measure success and inform future event strategies. This role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, adept at multitasking under tight deadlines, and possesses strong project management and leadership skills to influence and coordinate efforts across multiple teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of event management experience or related expertise, with proven ability to develop and execute effective, engaging branded events. They should demonstrate excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and budgeting skills, and maintain the flexibility to travel 25-50% based on the event schedule. If you are a proactive and organized professional seeking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company, Sales Engine International invites you to join our team as a Marketing Events Manager.
