The role of Marketing Event Coordinator at FARO Creaform is essential in driving the company’s brand presence and marketing efforts within an assigned region. This salaried position offers a competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $70,000 and reports directly to the Head of Regional Marketing. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing a wide range of tradeshows and marketing events such as roadshows, product launches, open houses, sales meetings, and distributor events. They will manage the full lifecycle of events including logistical setup, preparation, budgeting, lead reporting, and post-event analysis, ensuring alignment with the company’s branding and strategic marketing goals.

This role demands excellent project management, organizational skills, and a versatile approach to event coordination across various industries. The Marketing Event Coordinator will collaborate closely with the regional marketing team, corporate marketing departments, sales leadership, and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution and impactful marketing communications. The role requires managing marketing channels including social media promotion, email campaigns, and third-party advertising to support event success. The coordinator will also maintain essential event-related equipment like banners and stands and oversee promotional materials, sales documentation, and apparel inventory.

Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and fluency in English, with additional regional languages considered an advantage. Regular travel within the assigned region, approximately 20-30%, is expected to support events and sales efforts, sometimes involving early mornings, evenings, or weekend work during major activities. Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or Marketing / Communications
  • Past work experience in event management or similar role
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally across Sales, Corporate Marketing, Operations, and external vendors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
  • Available to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
  • Fluency in English
  • Additional regional languages are an advantage

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate and execute various events in the territory including tradeshows, roadshows, open houses, product launches, sales and distributor meetings
  • Coordinate all pre-show and post-show marketing efforts in support of tradeshows and other events through marketing channels such as social media, e-mailings, and advertising/3rd party campaigns
  • Coordinate all event set-up, tear down, logistical requirements and follow-up processes
  • Analyze and report marketing events performances based on defined KPIs
  • Assess an event's overall success and submit findings
  • Ensure proper lead management and reporting in the CRM
  • Manage the regional marketing event budget
  • Develop and maintain event-related equipment in-line with corporate branding, such as stands and banners
  • Manage sales documentation (print), promotional objects and apparel inventory for the region
  • Support communications with the regional sales team
