The Marketing Events Coordinator role at Opteon is a critical position within the marketing department, responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of events across all U.S. brands. This includes handling the logistical coordination of tradeshows, conferences, and partner events, securing sponsorships, and maintaining excellent communication and alignment within internal teams to ensure seamless event execution. The role is well-suited for a highly organized, self-motivated individual who actively manages multiple tasks while collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as sales, operations, and external vendors. Beyond event execution, the coordinator supports GTM (go-to-market) activities and marketing operations, including email marketing, social media content scheduling, and marketing inbox monitoring. They also contribute to brand management, performance tracking, and campaign optimization efforts.

A key aspect of this position involves the creation of visual assets using tools like Canva to support event campaigns, social media initiatives, and collateral design. Additionally, the role supports sales enablement through the development of landing pages and event signage, ensuring consistency with brand standards. Ideal candidates will bring 1-2 years of experience in event or marketing coordination, particularly in B2B environments such as real estate, mortgage, or financial services, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role is primarily non-travel, with occasional limited travel for critical events typically less than a few times per year.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in event coordination, marketing coordination, or related roles
  • Experience coordinating tradeshows or B2B events
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Canva or similar design tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process improvement
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and external vendors
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid office role at Fairhope, AL with a minimum of two days per week in-office
  • Ability to travel infrequently (1-3 times per year) for key events when requested with advance notice

Job Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools preferred
  • Basic understanding of email marketing, social media engagement, and landing page creation preferred
  • Interest in brand development and multi-brand marketing environments preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of events and tradeshows across all U.S. brands
  • Secure sponsorships and manage relationships with event organizers
  • Organize and communicate booth staffing needs, schedules, and expectations
  • Coordinate shipping and logistics for booth materials, signage, and swag
  • Manage swag inventory and restocking
  • Oversee event setup requirements, booth assets, and on-site needs
  • Lead post-event processes including lead collection, CRM handoff, reporting, and internal debriefs
  • Monitor marketing inboxes and respond or escalate as needed
  • Support email marketing, including drafting and scheduling as required
  • Draft and schedule social media content as required
  • Contribute to GTM activity execution and administrative marketing tasks
  • Create visual assets in Canva for events, campaigns, and social media
  • Assist with landing pages and sales enablement tools
  • Support design of event signage and brand-aligned collateral
  • Assist with ABM campaign execution including research, asset creation, and internal coordination
  • Maintain brand governance standards across Opteon and Jaro
  • Support performance tracking and optimization across campaigns and events
