Known for its future-forward infrastructure and state-of-the-art voice and data technology solutions, Segra provides services for businesses and the public sector, including wholesale transport services to some of the world’s largest carriers. The company’s network features the latest advances in IP, ethernet, and dark fiber architectures, supported by high-performance data centers throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Additionally, Segra powers technology solutions such as hosted voice, security, and cloud, further enhancing customer experience and connectivity.

Segra invests deeply in its communities by hiring locally and continuously upgrading network infrastructure. With over 900 employees across 90 facilities and 14 sales offices in 44 markets, Segra is dedicated to helping businesses within its footprint thrive through cutting-edge technology and unparalleled service. The company’s operations are engineered around a customer-centric approach that places the customer at the heart of all endeavors, reinforcing Segra’s commitment to delivering excellence in service and innovation.

The Marketing Event Coordinator role at Segra is a critical position within the marketing department, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tradeshows, events, and marketing activations across multiple markets nationwide. This full-time role requires managing the end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, inventory management, budget tracking, and delivery of post-event insights. The Marketing Event Coordinator will oversee a wide variety of events such as internal company gatherings, client events, tradeshows, promotions, sales incentives, and ticket requests. The position requires strong organizational skills to maintain a comprehensive annual event calendar and develop market-specific event strategies that support sales objectives. Managing event budgets, timelines, and logistics plans are key responsibilities, along with coordinating external vendors for catering, audiovisual needs, signage, and other event-specific requirements.

This role involves frequent travel across the United States to various event locations, demanding flexibility and a proactive approach to event management. The ideal candidate will possess high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Using proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat is required, with Adobe Creative Suite experience being strongly preferred. The Marketing Event Coordinator also plays a supporting role in day-to-day marketing and communication initiatives and will contribute to the production and coordination of marketing materials.

With a salary range of $47,579 to $59,535 and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, tuition and gym reimbursements, vacation/PTO, paid holidays, floating holidays, volunteer days, and parental leave, Segra offers a supportive work environment that values employee well-being and professional growth. The company is committed to equality and prohibits any form of discrimination, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
