Job Description
Plante Moran is a nationally recognized, full-service accounting and consulting firm known for its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive culture. Holding a prestigious spot among Fortune Magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work For," Plante Moran emphasizes a "we-care" culture that prioritizes employee growth, well-being, and success from day one. The firm operates across various service lines, including audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management, providing clients with a wide range of expertise and solutions. Dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Plante Moran offers an environment where all employees are valued for their unique identities and abilities, enabling everyone to reach their full potential in a collaborative and respectful workplace. The company maintains a drug-free workplace and promotes a flexible "Workplace for Your Day" model that balances in-person engagement with individual work preferences to foster both personal and professional development.
The Events Center of Excellence (COE) is a critical part of Plante Moran’s marketing team focused on delivering high-impact, firm-hosted national events and strategic sponsorship programs that drive demand and help grow the firm’s marketplace presence. The COE partners with various practice areas and internal teams to define event strategies, supporting the creation and execution of engaging activations that enhance client and prospect engagement. This role is highly collaborative and instrumental in delivering exceptional experiences that reinforce Plante Moran's brand and market position.
As an Events Coordinator within the COE, you will play a key role in planning and executing corporate events, sponsorship activations, and game-day engagements with meticulous attention to detail and project management. Responsibilities include managing timelines, deliverables, and partnership assets to ensure flawless execution of events, utilizing marketing analytics platforms and survey tools to evaluate program performance and attendee satisfaction. You will support event operations by handling ticketing platforms, promotional inventory procurement, event-day logistics such as on-site setup, branding, and material delivery. Collaboration with marketing, creative, business development, and firm-wide teams is essential to support integrated campaigns and event-related content such as invitations, promotions, and recap materials.
Your role will also involve managing project workflows and logistics using tools like Adobe Workfront, ON24, Microsoft Teams, and reporting platforms to monitor attendee engagement and event outcomes. A significant aspect includes CPE administration, ensuring client-facing training events comply with NASBA qualifications through coordination with the Learning & Development team. Maintaining organized systems for tracking activations, deadlines, documentation, and expenses is crucial for accuracy and compliance. Lastly, you will contribute to creating consistent and valuable client and stakeholder experiences, ensuring every event touchpoint aligns with Plante Moran’s brand values and strengthens relationships.
This position is hybrid and involves occasional travel for event support and on-site activations. It is a non-exempt role requiring flexibility to work beyond standard hours, including weekends when events occur. The compensation range for this role in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts is $21.00 to $29.00 per hour, reflecting market-based benchmarks and consideration of candidates’ qualifications and geography.
Join Plante Moran and take advantage of their robust benefits package, including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; flexible time off; 401(k) plans; and discretionary bonuses. Embark on a fulfilling career within a firm that values diversity, inclusion, and employee success, all while delivering industry-leading client experiences through exceptional event management and marketing initiatives.
