Job Description

The University Athletic Association (UAA) at the University of Florida is a dynamic organization dedicated to managing, promoting, and enhancing the athletic programs of one of the nation’s leading universities. Known for its commitment to excellence both on and off the field, the UAA supports a diverse range of intercollegiate sports, fostering a competitive and inclusive environment that engages students, alumni, staff, and the wider community. As a separate corporate entity from the University of Florida itself and an at-will employer, the UAA operates with a focus on innovation, fan engagement, and operational excellence in collegiate athletics.

The University Athletic Association is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join its team. This role is essential in driving revenue growth and increasing attendance for Florida Gators athletic events by developing and executing effective marketing strategies for assigned sports. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with various departments to enhance the overall fan experience, ensuring that every athletic event is engaging and memorable for attendees. This position requires active participation during all Florida Football home games and other scheduled athletic events throughout the year.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities. They should be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Being a team player with a positive attitude is critical, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team. The role also demands flexibility with a non-standard work schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and potential overnight travel.

This position offers a comprehensive opportunity to contribute to a highly visible and prestigious athletics program, with a competitive compensation package tailored to the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant. The University Athletic Association values diversity and inclusion, providing an equal opportunity workplace that encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply. The coordinator position plays a vital role in further elevating the Florida Gators brand and supporting the growth and success of the athletic programs through innovative marketing and fan engagement strategies.
