The Marketing Coordinator role at Travel + Leisure Co. is a dynamic, full-time position based at the company's resort location in Redmond, Oregon. As an essential part of the in-house marketing team, this role focuses on engaging both prospective and current resort owners by promoting attendance at sales-preview presentations. The coordinator acts as a professional brand ambassador, greeting guests upon arrival, qualifying potential customers according to company policies, and scheduling sales tours. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with resort staff, and proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel and Word. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory standards while achieving performance targets. The work involves approximately 80% guest interaction and 20% ongoing training and performance review activities. This is an in-person role with no travel required beyond the resort location. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the company’s mission by helping to create exceptional vacation experiences for guests through effective marketing coordination.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sales and/or marketing experience preferred
  • Must maintain production standards
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a shared team environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and smart devices
  • Ability to meet performance goals

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer skills
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred but not required
  • Experience equivalent to education requirement may be accepted in lieu
  • Ability to maintain production standards

Job Duties

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
  • Partner with resort staff to obtain arrival sheets of guests checking in
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings
  • Keep current on marketing information, industry trends, and set/review performance goals
