The Marketing Coordinator role at Busch Vacuum Solutions is a pivotal position based at the company’s headquarters in Virginia Beach. This full-time, onsite opportunity focuses primarily on supporting the execution of company marketing initiatives with an emphasis on trade shows, events, branded merchandise programs, and vendor management. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for orchestrating event logistics, managing marketing assets and promotional inventory, handling branded apparel and merchandise requests, and ensuring consistent branding across all Busch USA entities. This role requires collaboration across internal departments and external vendors to facilitate seamless coordination and successful marketing program execution.
Operating during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility as business needs dictate, the position involves domestic travel accounting for approximately 15-25% of the work time. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role as a liaison, supporting marketing operations and event planning to enhance Busch Vacuum Solutions’ market presence and brand recognition. Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically, including overnight trips
- Valid driver’s license that meets company insurance standards
- Current work authorization in the United States
- Employment eligibility without visa sponsorship
- Ability to stand, walk, speak, and manipulate materials frequently
- Ability to sit, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb, and occasionally carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to wear PPE such as safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection when required
Job Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business, event management or related field preferred but not required
- 0-3 years of experience in marketing support, event coordination or related field preferred
- Experience working with vendors and promotional merchandise programs is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to analyze information and maintain accurate records
Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage domestic trade shows and industry events including logistics and onsite support
- Serve as primary contact for trade show vendors and promotional suppliers
- Communicate across internal departments and Busch Group entities to support marketing initiatives
- Maintain marketing assets and promotional inventory
- Support branded apparel and merchandise requests
- Manage ordering, inventory tracking and fulfillment of promotional items
- Ensure consistency of branding across materials and displays
- Track event schedules, budgets and vendor invoices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors for event planning
- Manage trade show preparation including registrations and accommodations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
- Maintain records and reporting related to marketing activities
- Support marketing team with administrative and project coordination
- Travel domestically to support trade shows and marketing initiatives
- Assist with special projects as assigned
