Job Description

The hiring company is a distinguished player in the wine industry, dedicated to producing quality wines and promoting an enriched brand experience through innovative marketing strategies. Rooted in a culture that values teamwork, commitment, quality, integrity, safety, entrepreneurship, and fun, the company prides itself on being a spirited partner within the industry and its community. This organization commits to excellence every day, paying close attention to detail at every step, from grape to glass, fostering a vibrant and engaging work atmosphere where creativity and passion thrive. With a strong emphasis on both tradition and innovation, they seamlessly blend the art of winemaking with modern marketing approaches to maintain and grow their market presence and customer loyalty in a competitive landscape.

This Marketing Coordinator role is pivotal within the Brand Marketing team, serving as the backbone for the efficient organization, administration, and distribution of key brand initiatives aligned with overarching business objectives. It is a hybrid position, offering flexibility by allowing remote work options on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office responsibilities from Tuesday through Thursday. The role involves supporting a broad array of marketing functions that blend creativity, coordination, and communication skills. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will liaise with external creative services freelancers to initiate and execute various projects, ensuring brand messaging and presentation maintain high standards across all channels.

The scope of this role includes event coordination, which may require travel and hands-on activities such as set-up and wine pouring. The coordinator is responsible for proofreading, writing, and editing copy for a variety of marketing materials including wine technical sheets, collateral, direct sales e-blasts, newsletters, and website content. With responsibilities extending to managing wine sample orders and PR submissions, the role demands meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess. You will also handle financial administration tasks such as coding invoices for Accounts Payable and expense coding in Concur, demonstrating a sound understanding of basic financial procedures.

Marketing collateral creation for hospitality centers and website updates through a WordPress Content Management System are also essential duties, alongside creating engaging social media content and monitoring social media performance metrics. Acting as a liaison to the Sales team is a significant part of the role, which includes leading the semi-annual Sales Point of Sale (POS) catalog creation and managing timelines and materials across all brands efficiently.

The Marketing Coordinator will develop, manage, and fulfill print, digital, and in-hand POS materials such as fact sheets, wine club applications, newsletters, acclaim flyers, shelf talkers, coupons, and cork pullers. Daily communication and coordination with the sales team regarding POS, events, and travel ensures alignment in promotional activities. Maintaining and updating the sales portal with bottle shots, label images, and ensuring content accuracy is critical to supporting the sales infrastructure. Additionally, managing coupon programs end-to-end and tracking their performance, along with tracking and distributing acclaim across all brands, require an analytical approach to marketing effectiveness.

This role is best suited for candidates who are self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate creativity and problem-solving capabilities. It requires someone who can balance multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment. A basic understanding of financial accounting and comfort with financial analysis is necessary, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The Marketing Coordinator will embody the company’s core values, contributing to a cohesive team environment and a culture where quality and fun are celebrated regularly. With opportunities for some travel, this role offers a vibrant and challenging experience for a driven marketing professional seeking to make an impact within a well-established and respected wine company.
