The role of Marketing Coordinator at Grand and Little America represents an exciting opportunity for a skilled marketing professional with a flair for visual content creation and social media management. This position is responsible for developing engaging organic content, including video and photography, to promote the hotel and its various business facets. In addition to content production, the Marketing Coordinator takes charge of event and promotion planning and marketing execution, working closely with different hotel departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging. As this is a fast-paced role, candidates must be adaptable, able to work creatively under pressure, and ready to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday activities.
Specifically, this role involves leading the organic content strategy, producing high-quality visual content, managing social media communities, responding promptly to guest interactions, and supporting creative requests from multiple departments. The coordinator also manages the hotel’s influencer marketing program and assists in maintaining the media library. They collaborate with third-party vendors on photo and video shoots, update website content, and help coordinate special events while maintaining high standards of communication both internally and externally.
Strong project management skills are essential for success, as is proficiency with tools like Later, Canva, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Job Duties
- Lead and execute organic content strategy and content deployment
- produce high quality video and still photography for social media
- manage social media communities and lead the hotels' social media response and engagement
- support creative requests from multiple departments
- website management and content updates
- support PR needs as directed by Marketing Director and PR agency
- lead resort photo and video shoots with 3rd party creative vendors
- support organization of hotel media library
- regularly reporting of social media engagement and growth
- manage the Hotel Influencer program
- partner with hotel departments on special event planning and marketing execution
- lead management of guest reviews on all platforms
- work with local tourism bureaus on cooperative networking opportunities
- adhere to hotel and departmental policies and procedures
- attend required meetings both onsite and with other marketing stakeholders at other properties
- attends Sales/PR related functions within the hotel
