The Marketing Coordinator role at the Arkansas Foodbank is a pivotal position responsible for enhancing the organization’s outreach and engagement through strategic marketing efforts. This full-time position entails managing social media platforms, assisting in the creation of marketing materials, and supporting various digital campaigns that align with the Foodbank's mission to relieve hunger. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Brand Specialist and the Director of Marketing & Communications to maintain cohesive branding and implement marketing initiatives effectively.
In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will plan, create, and schedule content for social media channels while analyzing performance metrics to optimize engagement. The candidate will also support the production of marketing materials like brochures, fact sheets, and invitations to ensure consistent and professional presentations of the Foodbank's message. Additionally, they will manage email and digital campaigns, including coordinating Meta advertisements and outreach efforts such as Feeding America recall emails.
Beyond digital engagement, the Marketing Coordinator is charged with maintaining an organized marketing collateral library, an inventory of printed materials, and photo archives to preserve and streamline communication resources. The job includes coordination of vendor quotes for print jobs and assisting in the planning and implementation of special campaigns, including Hunger Action Month activities. This role occasionally requires representing the Arkansas Foodbank at events, emphasizing the importance of interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable with learning new technologies and motivated to utilize the Foodbank's software systems. A spirit of collaboration, dedication to the mission of hunger relief, and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this role. The Marketing Coordinator may also be required to work irregular hours occasionally to meet the demands of specific campaign deadlines or events.

Job Requirements
- Associates degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- or High School Diploma or GED
- five years of relevant work experience in Communications, Development, Journalism, or Marketing related field
- valid Arkansas driver's license and proof of insurance required
- must pass a background check
- must pass a preemployment drug screening

Job Duties
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content across all platforms
- monitor engagement and analyze social media performance metrics
- assist the Brand Specialist with design and production of marketing materials such as brochures, fact sheets, invitations
- support implementation of email and digital campaigns, such as scheduling Meta ads or sending out Feeding America recall emails
- update and maintain Arkansas Foodbank photos and photo archives
- manage and update the marketing collateral library
- maintain inventory of printed materials such as donor thank-you cards and business reply envelopes
- work with the Director of Marketing & Communications to assess Feeding America Marketing and Promotion opportunities and execute local marketing goals
- provide support in implementation of traditional and digital campaigns including graphic design, social media, and email
- coordinate vendor quotes for smaller print jobs such as business cards
- plan and implement Hunger Action Month activities and materials
- assist with departmental reporting and monitoring of marketing trends
- represent the organization at events as needed
