Job Description

Anchor Loans is a prominent private lending company operating under the ownership of Pretium Partners, a financial services entity overseeing assets exceeding 60 billion dollars. Established in 1998, Anchor Loans has developed a leading position in the market as the nation's foremost private, direct lender specializing in residential real estate investments. With a strong focus on experienced investors and builders, the company has pioneered lending solutions tailored to bridge loans, ground-up construction projects, and single-family rental properties, particularly those that are non-owner-occupied. Based in the picturesque city of Thousand Oaks, California, Anchor Loans currently extends its lending services to 48 states across the United States. The organization is actively expanding its footprint to cover additional markets and service lines, aiming to better meet the needs of its expanding borrower base.

The Marketing Communications Associate position at Anchor Loans offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic marketing team that supports the company’s ambitious growth plans. This role is integral to the execution of email marketing campaigns, CRM initiatives, audience segmentation, and communications related to events, all designed to enhance engagement and drive lead generation. As a Marketing Communications Associate, you will collaborate closely with both marketing and sales teams to develop targeted messaging strategies, optimize the performance of marketing campaigns, and ensure the consistent representation of the Anchor Loans brand across all communication channels.

This position involves hands-on involvement in content creation, campaign analytics, and multimedia marketing efforts, providing a comprehensive marketing experience that fosters both customer engagement and business growth. Responsibilities include managing email marketing platforms, developing segmented newsletters, and implementing drip campaigns that effectively nurture leads through the sales funnel. You will have the opportunity to create reusable marketing assets such as email and text templates for various sales teams including Loan Originators and Inside Sales units.

A key part of this role involves the continuous analysis of campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion statistics to inform data-driven improvements. Beyond electronic campaigns, you will contribute to audience segmentation strategies and maintain well-segmented CRM lists to enhance outreach effectiveness. Additional duties include supporting event marketing by crafting pre- and post-event communications, aiding in meeting scheduling with event attendees, and capturing rich multimedia content for social media and other corporate channels. Working within a hybrid environment based in Thousand Oaks, California with flexible remote options on certain days, this position offers a competitive salary range from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, supplemented by an annual discretionary bonus. Anchor Loans is committed to fostering a collaborative workplace culture underscored by values of teamwork, innovation, and accountability, with a comprehensive benefits package supporting employee wellness and professional development.
