Job Description

Our company is a dynamic and expanding events organization located in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. We specialize in creating memorable, impactful events that bring the St. Louis community and businesses together. As a locally rooted company, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized event experiences that resonate with the unique culture and energy of the city. Our team is passionate about growth, innovation, and creating event solutions that exceed client expectations. We work with a diverse range of clients including corporate, private, and community sectors, allowing us to operate at the exciting intersection of business networking, celebration, and community engagement.

We are seeking a driven and personable Events Sales Assistant to join our energetic team. This role is critical to our expansion as it focuses heavily on client interaction, sales development, and business relationship management. Unlike traditional desk jobs, this position involves active outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to attract and secure event bookings. The Events Sales Assistant will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and helping to convert leads into confirmed reservations that contribute to our revenue goals.

The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with both the sales and events coordination teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless handovers from sales to event execution. This role demands strong communication skills, high energy, and the ability to engage clients by understanding their vision and matching it with our event packages. The candidate must be comfortable working flexible hours including evenings and weekends, reflecting the nature of the events industry.

Our company offers both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (20-25 hours per week) opportunities, with comprehensive training from day one ensuring you are well-equipped to succeed. The role requires some local travel within St. Louis to visit client sites and venues. We are committed to responding promptly to applications and place a strong emphasis on authenticity and passion for event sales in our hiring process. Join us and become part of a company where your energy, ideas, and dedication will directly influence our growth and the unforgettable experiences we create for our clients.
