Job Description

Alliance Highway Safety is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting impactful community messaging with a specialized focus on highway safety programs. Partnering directly with various states, Alliance Highway Safety implements targeted campaigns addressing critical issues such as drinking and driving, texting and driving, seatbelt use, speeding, and other important safety concerns. The organization utilizes sports, entertainment, and high school venues as effective platforms to disseminate these messages and create a meaningful impact. Known for its commitment to saving lives and enhancing public safety on the roads, Alliance Highway Safety consistently seeks passionate and dedicated individuals to join their efforts.

The current opportunity is an internship designed for flexible, outgoing, and organized individuals who want to gain valuable experience in event marketing and corporate sponsorships. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience to understand the intricacies of managing sponsorship campaigns and executing highway safety initiatives across the country. Interns will work closely with experienced staff, gaining hands-on exposure by coordinating and participating in a variety of sponsorship events ranging from fairs, festivals, motorcycle rallies, racetracks, college sports events, to the popular Choices Matter Program. Traveling extensively is a key aspect of this role, with approximately 75% travel expected to various event locations nationwide.

Interns will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, coordinating with venue partners including school leadership and college career centers, and fulfilling event staffing metrics. The role also involves marketing highway safety campaigns effectively in diverse environments, collecting data, and providing professional event recaps to clients. Interns will support on-site inventory management, ensure sponsorship activations meet venue requirements through signage and public announcements, and even have the opportunity to contribute creatively using design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented settings, and who are eager to make a tangible difference in communities by promoting safety messages. The internship offers a stipend of $2,000 per month and runs from ASAP through September or October 2026. Candidates who are proactive, adaptable, and possess strong interpersonal skills will find this internship both rewarding and instrumental in developing their professional career in marketing and event coordination. Alliance Highway Safety also prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
