The current opportunity is an internship designed for flexible, outgoing, and organized individuals who want to gain valuable experience in event marketing and corporate sponsorships. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience to understand the intricacies of managing sponsorship campaigns and executing highway safety initiatives across the country. Interns will work closely with experienced staff, gaining hands-on exposure by coordinating and participating in a variety of sponsorship events ranging from fairs, festivals, motorcycle rallies, racetracks, college sports events, to the popular Choices Matter Program. Traveling extensively is a key aspect of this role, with approximately 75% travel expected to various event locations nationwide.

Interns will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, coordinating with venue partners including school leadership and college career centers, and fulfilling event staffing metrics. The role also involves marketing highway safety campaigns effectively in diverse environments, collecting data, and providing professional event recaps to clients. Interns will support on-site inventory management, ensure sponsorship activations meet venue requirements through signage and public announcements, and even have the opportunity to contribute creatively using design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
