Travel across North America, including Canada, is a vital component of the position.
In this role, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will work closely with zone leaders and the Director of Events and Sponsorships to bolster the effectiveness of event activities and marketing campaigns. The coordinator will play a key role in establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, coordinating third-party services such as transportation and entertainment, and ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after each event. They will also be responsible for preparing event materials including stationary like nametags and notebooks, and delivering internal communications in collaboration with the communications team.
The role demands proficiency with various marketing and data management tools including CRM platforms like Salesforce, event management software such as Cvent and Jifflenow, and marketing automation tools like Adobe Campaign. Monitoring industry developments and spotting marketing opportunities are also essential functions that contribute to the continual evolution of AzC’s event and marketing initiatives.
To excel in this position, the coordinator is expected to have a solid foundation in event and meeting planning with a corporate focus, along with experience in marketing communications and brand strategy execution. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, organizational prowess, and excellent communication skills to the table, enabling them to craft compelling narratives and impactful presentations. Preferred professional certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Events Professional, or Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Specialist are considered assets.
AzC offers this full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary range between $71,818 and $108,509 annually, depending on experience and location factors. The compensation package also includes eligibility for performance-based cash incentives and a suite of highly rated benefits, reflecting AzC’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the market. Note that only applicants legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered at this time.
