Job Description

Mainstreet Ventures (MSV) is a well-established and reputable full-service restaurant group known for its diverse concepts in fine dining, including seafood, steak, Italian, and American cuisines. With a commitment to quality, consistency, and outstanding guest experiences, each Mainstreet Ventures restaurant uniquely blends creative décor and menus prepared with fresh, seasonal, and local produce from scratch kitchens. MSV prides itself on creating memorable dining experiences that exceed guests' expectations through exemplary service and culinary excellence. The group provides significant growth and career advancement opportunities for team members within its full-service casual dining environment, fostering a supportive and professional workplace culture.

This summer, MSV is excited to announce the opening of its new restaurant and innovative One Social Food Hall in the new One09 building located in downtown Madison, overlooking the picturesque Lake Monona. The One09 site features a vibrant public food hall, promenade, and plaza with stunning lakefront views, aimed at becoming a central hub for food lovers seeking varied culinary options and community engagement. As part of this exciting expansion, MSV is seeking a talented and driven Marketing Event Coordinator to join the team. The Marketing Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and promotional events designed to raise brand visibility, enhance customer engagement, and increase foot traffic at One Social Food Hall.

The role calls for a creative professional with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for the food and hospitality industry. The Marketing Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing social media accounts, coordinating email marketing campaigns, and building relationships with vendors, local influencers, and media outlets to boost the food hall's presence. Additionally, this individual will plan and oversee onsite promotional events such as food tastings, live entertainment, and themed celebrations, ensuring flawless execution and guest satisfaction. This position involves collaboration with vendors, nearby businesses, and community organizations to design exclusive promotions and interactive guest experiences, further solidifying the food hall's role as a community gathering place.

With a focus on data-driven results, the Marketing Event Coordinator will track and report on the success of marketing initiatives, manage event budgets effectively, and negotiate with partners to maximize returns on investment. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, hospitality, or business, preferably supported by 1-3 years of relevant experience in event planning, marketing, or the food and beverage industry. Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing trends is essential, with graphic design skills considered a valuable asset.

MSV offers a range of benefits including paid time off that begins accruing immediately, comprehensive medical and dental coverage for full-time employees, flexible schedules, meal benefits, holiday pay, employee meal discounts, professional advancement opportunities, life insurance, and 401K participation. Joining MSV means becoming part of an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering a positive work environment where team members grow their careers in a dynamic and supportive setting. If you are a polished professional with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and uphold MSV's standards, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exciting new chapter in Madison's culinary scene.
