The role of Marketing and Event Coordinator at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is a dynamic and impactful position essential to advancing the agency's mission. The Marketing and Event Coordinator will be instrumental in researching, planning, and managing a variety of agency-related events including sport shows, the Nebraska State Fair exhibit, and broader community outreach initiatives. This role requires strong skills in creative writing, editing, and proofreading to produce compelling marketing and advertising content tailored to various media formats. Candidates must demonstrate strong collaborative and relationship-building capabilities, alongside a thorough understanding of modern marketing principles and event planning strategies. Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in journalism communications marketing public relations advertising graphic arts digital media videography or related field or equivalent experience
- ability to lift 25 lbs
- driver's license required
- strong organizational and project management skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
