Job Description

Magnify of Central Florida is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in the heart of Central Florida, Magnify offers a comprehensive range of services including residential support, employment opportunities, life-skills development, youth transition programs, and community engagement initiatives. The organization is grounded in the belief that every person is created with God-given gifts and purpose, and it strives to create environments where these unique talents can flourish. With a passion for inclusion and belonging, Magnify serves both youth and adults by providing tailored support that enables them to live, learn, work, and thrive within their communities.

The Marketing & Communications Manager role at Magnify of Central Florida offers an exceptional opportunity for creative professionals who want to make a meaningful impact through purpose-driven storytelling and strategic marketing. This is not a typical marketing position focused solely on social media or isolated campaigns. Instead, the successful candidate will act as the lead marketing professional within the organization, responsible for shaping and elevating the Magnify brand across Central Florida, while supporting multiple organizational goals including fundraising, recruitment, program growth, donor engagement, and comprehensive internal and external communications.

This role is designed for individuals who are excited about combining a deep commitment to a nonprofit mission with innovative marketing strategies including modern digital tools and emerging technologies such as AI-powered search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). The Marketing & Communications Manager will develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, manage digital platforms including website, email marketing, and social media channels, and create compelling narratives through stories, videos, graphics, and other multimedia content that foster community engagement and strengthen brand recognition.

The position involves cross-functional collaboration with leadership and program teams to ensure consistent messaging that reflects the organization's values and mission. Additionally, responsibilities include supporting fundraising campaigns and donor communications, managing signature events such as the Harvest Ball, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize effectiveness through data-driven decisions. Candidates in this role will enjoy a dynamic, multifaceted workload that requires creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution, making it a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about making a measurable difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
