The Sales Manager role at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional committed to driving business growth through excellence in Direct Store Delivery Execution (DSDE). The position focuses on achieving sales targets by leading the implementation of DSDE best practices within assigned markets. The Sales Manager will develop store-level growth strategies aligned with broader zone revenue, freshness, and sales realization objectives. These strategies require a strong emphasis on building lasting customer relationships and quarterly communication with business partners to review growth plans, identify opportunities, and formulate effective action plans.

This role is analytical and customer-focused, requiring the Sales Manager to leverage sales data tools to inform decision-making and optimize brand growth. Managing market share through strategic brand promotion, acquiring new display areas, and improving merchandising are some of the key responsibilities. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer relations or sales
  • At least 6 months experience leading and influencing others
  • Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required
  • Valid driver's license with safe driving record required
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical card
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Responsible for achieving sales objectives to grow the overall business by leading the execution of Direct Store Delivery Excellence (DSDE) best practices in the market
  • Establish store-level growth plans that connect to the Zone objectives for revenue, freshness, and realization, while building customer relationships that align with planned store-level growth goals
  • Communicate plans and conduct reviews quarterly with business partners to identify opportunities and action plans
  • Execute on all growth opportunities to grow market share on strategic brands through the execution of DSDE best practices
  • Utilize sales data tools to help drive effective decisions with the frontline salespeople as well as drive brand growth with customers through the acquisition of new space and displays
