The role offered is a sales-focused position that centers on growing the company’s business by leading the execution of Direct Store Delivery Excellence (DSDE) best practices within the market. The sales professional will take responsibility for achieving sales objectives that enhance overall business growth. This includes establishing store-level growth plans aligned with regional zone goals for revenue, freshness, and product realization. The role demands building and maintaining strong customer relationships that dovetail with planned growth strategies. The sales associate will also spearhead efforts to identify and execute market share expansion opportunities for strategic brands by deploying DSDE practices effectively. This includes utilizing sales data and analytic tools to guide frontline sales teams and to develop brand presence through securing new customer space and display placements. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical card
  • Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records

Job Duties

  • Responsible for achieving sales objectives to grow the overall business by leading the execution of Direct Store Delivery Excellence best practices in the market
  • Establish store-level growth plans that connect to the Zone objectives for revenue, freshness, and realization, while building customer relationships that align with planned store-level growth goals
  • Communicate plans and conduct reviews quarterly with business partners to identify opportunities and action plans
  • Execute on all growth opportunities to grow market share on strategic brands through the execution of DSDE best practices
  • Utilize sales data tools to help drive effective decisions with the frontline salespeople as well as drive brand growth with customers through the acquisition of new space and displays
