Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- vision requirements including depth perception and color vision
- ability to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- ability to work in fast-paced environments
- willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions
- answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- works with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
- prepares cooking surfaces
- prepares vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods and all menu items
- places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary
- knowledgeable of all menu items and able to take guests’ orders
- prepares items for upcoming shifts
- ensures personal understanding of all Market Grille aspects
- practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains clean work area
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- follows company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- provides direct customer service when necessary
- orders products and supplies or notifies manager
- assists in other store areas as needed
- performs job-related duties and special projects as required
