Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of related work experience
- ability to solve practical problems
- basic math skills
- ability to follow verbal instructions
- able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- able to perform physical activities including climbing balancing stooping kneeling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting grasping feeling talking hearing and repetitive motions
- pass a pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide prompt efficient and friendly customer service
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- learn and use customers' names whenever possible
- assist customers by escorting them to products securing out-of-reach items loading or unloading heavy items noting and passing along customer suggestions
- answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service
- work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
- prepare cooking surfaces and food items including vegetables sides meats and breakfast foods
- place food in hot cases monitor amounts and refill as necessary
- be knowledgeable of all menu items and take guests' orders
- prepare items for upcoming shifts
- practice proper sanitation procedures and maintain a clean work area
- adhere to personal hygiene dress and company policies
- report to work on time as scheduled
- provide direct customer service when needed
- order products and supplies or notify manager of needs
- assist in other store areas as needed
- perform other related duties and special projects
