Job Description

The Redmont Hotel, Curio by Hilton, and The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection, are premier hotels nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Both hotels provide guests with easy access to the city’s renowned theater district and important cultural sites such as the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. The Redmont Hotel is Birmingham’s longest-running hotel, ever since its grand opening in 1925. It masterfully blends the historic charm of the 1920s with contemporary luxury and modern amenities. Guests at The Redmont enjoy sophisticated experiences with access to a state-of-the-art fitness center, complimentary WiFi, and breathtaking rooftop views, all while savoring masterfully crafted signature cocktails. The Kelly Birmingham boasts prime downtown views and is conveniently within walking distance to an array of restaurants, bars, and notable cultural and entertainment venues. Attractions such as the Alabama Theatre, Regions Field, Birmingham Museum of Art, and Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex are all located less than two miles away, while Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is just 15 minutes from the hotels.

Both properties are operated by SPIRE Hospitality LLC, a respected management company that focuses on delivering memorable guest experiences and exceptional service standards across a nationwide portfolio of hotels and resorts. SPIRE Hospitality emphasizes career growth, providing its employees with the necessary support, tools, and opportunities to thrive in the fast-paced hospitality industry. The role being offered is a full-time Food and Beverage Outlet Manager position, designed for an experienced hospitality professional ready to lead and innovate within a dynamic and thriving setting. This position involves helm driving impactful outlet programming through innovative marketing, developing strategic partnerships, and orchestrating engaging activations that boost brand visibility and revenue growth for the food and beverage outlets within both hotels. The manager will also craft a high-impact food and beverage lifestyle and revenue strategy that aligns operations, optimizes pricing and promotions, and empowers staff to provide elevated guest experiences that set these outlets apart as leaders in the market.

Responsibilities include accelerating revenue by creating compelling ticketed events, premium beverage selections, and unforgettable private functions that foster guest loyalty and profitability. The manager will build and inspire a robust team by recruiting top talent and implementing comprehensive training programs focusing on product expertise, sales excellence, and flawless execution. They will oversee operational efficiency and profitability with strategic cost control, clear accountability, and strong leadership across all food and beverage sub-departments. Furthermore, the manager will elevate the guest experience constantly by analyzing customer feedback and market trends to refine offerings, ensuring the hotels remain fresh, relevant, and competitive in the industry.

This role requires physical exertion of light to moderate force, including occasional lifting, carrying, and other movements. Some sedentary office work is also involved to handle reporting and computer-based projects. The Food and Beverage Outlet Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to work in iconic Birmingham hotels with full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a pet discount program, identity theft protection, earned wage access, paid time off, wellness programs, 401K plan, and more, all aimed at promoting employee wellness and career development.
