Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and manual dexterity sufficient to grasp, chop, mix, blend, whip etc
  • Exposure to and use of chemicals to clean and sanitize areas, surfaces
  • Knowledge of kitchen dangers such as cuts, scrapes, burns and scalds
  • Willingness to work day, evening, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Prior food preparation experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
  • Ability to safely use kitchen knives and small equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Properly measure, portion, and prepare all food items in compliance with quality standards and procedures
  • Maintain food, utensils and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Label, date and wrap food products, adhering to ServSafe procedures
  • Perform opening, closing and side work duties as instructed according proper guidelines
  • Follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations, cleaning and safety procedures
