Located in Portsmouth, VA, PALFINGER is now seeking a Marine Service Technician to join their team at 705 Mt. The role demands a strong commitment to safety in line with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. The technician will also be expected to coordinate closely with Service Coordinators and Managers, providing clear updates on job progress and supporting assembly or production activities as necessary. This offers a unique blend of hands-on technical service and collaborative work, ensuring that every service call meets PALFINGER’s high standards of quality and reliability.
Working at PALFINGER Portsmouth also means being part of a supportive culture that values continuous learning and career growth. The company offers competitive compensation along with an attractive benefits package, including 401(k) plans with company matching, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and accidental death insurance, and both short- and long-term disability coverage depending on the state. Employees enjoy paid holidays and vacation time, which reflects PALFINGER’s commitment to work-life balance. Additionally, the company fosters a strong community spirit with health measures, employee participation opportunities, and regular staff events.
