As a growing leader in the marina industry, TopSide Marinas is dedicated to providing an exceptional environment where members and guests can create lifelong memories while enjoying relaxation and a healthy lifestyle. The company prides itself on delivering superior service, hospitality, and enthusiasm to effectively serve the varied needs of boat owners and water enthusiasts both on and off the water. The culture at TopSide Marinas emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere where members and guests feel right at home, highlighting the company's commitment not only to its clientele but also to its property team members. Employees benefit from competitive wages, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a supportive work environment that fosters growth and community spirit.
The Marine Dry Stack Driver plays a critical role at TopSide Marinas by ensuring the safe and secure stacking and unstacking of customer boats in the marina facilities. Reporting directly to the Marina General Manager, this position involves working a standard schedule of five days per week and eight hours per day, with potential seasonal scheduling adjustments at management's discretion. The primary responsibility is to assist boat owners and their crews with the berthing and un-berthing process, ensuring that all boats are properly stacked and secured at all times. This role requires diligent attention to detail to prevent hazards related to mooring lines, electrical cables, boat overhangs, or other materials that could pose risks within the marina.
Furthermore, the Marine Dry Stack Driver must comply with OSHA and environmental regulations concerning boat blocking and the overall handling of vessels. Daily operational duties include verifying berth occupancy and the validity of licenses, inspecting forklift oil and fuel levels, and performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to maintain operational standards. The position also requires flexibility and teamwork, as the driver may be called upon to assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational abilities, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service. Physical demands include lifting and carrying weights up to 50 pounds, working around water, navigating tight spaces, and performing tasks at heights of up to 30 feet. Overall, this position is essential in maintaining efficient marina operations and ensuring a positive experience for all marina users.
