The Point Defiance Marina seeks a Seasonal Customer Service Assistant to join their dynamic and supportive team. This role involves multifaceted duties contributing to the smooth operation and maintenance of the marina, including engaging directly with tenants and visitors. With a starting hourly wage of $17.13 and a range extending up to $17.62, this position offers up to 40 hours per week over a period of six months. The selected candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, complete retail sales transactions for boating and fishing equipment, fuel, bait, and boat rentals, and operate marine fuel pumps efficiently. Additional responsibilities include managing the boat lift system to launch and retrieve boats, processing tenant payments, selling Washington state fishing and hunting licenses, and maintaining an attractive, clean retail environment. The role demands a proactive attitude engaging patrons with valuable information and ensuring the overall safety and cleanliness of the marina’s facilities and equipment.
