The Margaux Server Assistant role at JW Marriott Grand Rapids is a full-time position that requires availability to work various shifts, including weekends. This position demands a dynamic individual responsible for numerous tasks including counter service, food running, table service, and order deliveries. The assistant will actively participate in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, following strict health department specifications and Marriott’s quality assurance standards. A key responsibility is understanding all menu items, specials, and relevant local events to enrich guest interactions with informed suggestions. The role may occasionally require the assistant to perform bartending tasks and to be comfortable pouring wine, beer, or making mixed drinks when the bartender is unavailable.
