The Manufacturing Team Lead position at Bloom Energy is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most cutting-edge technology teams in Fremont, CA. This role is full-time and requires the candidate to work onsite with a day shift schedule from 6pm to 6am, Sunday through Tuesday including every other Wednesday. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Manufacturing Team Lead will oversee on-the-floor manufacturing processes ensuring safety adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, quality standards, and daily operational excellence. The role involves managing material movements using Oracle transactions, conducting inventory management with cycle counts, and maintaining effective communication with engineering and manufacturing teams regarding unit findings. The candidate will lead and mentor the assembly team with hands-on training to build technical troubleshooting skills and sustain standardized work practices. Additionally, the Manufacturing Team Lead will be responsible for identifying ways to eliminate waste and increase cost-effectiveness in manufacturing processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team. The role offers a competitive salary range between $23.66 to $34.04 per hour, reflecting the candidate's skills, experience, and contribution to Bloom Energy's vision and mission. Job Duties
- maintain on-the-floor manufacturing activities ensuring safety and compliance with EHS policies
- ensure all quality requirements are met and team members adhere to these requirements daily
- manage Oracle transactions and IOTs for material movements between plants and processes
- provide updates on unit findings to engineering and manufacturing teams
- conduct cycle counts and inventory management
- create, document, and sustain standardized work practices
- train and mentor technical team members with a hands-on approach to troubleshoot
- report attendance, quality, or performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor
- manage assembly team processes and communicate issues with supervisors or managers
- identify non-value added waste and recommend cost-effective solutions
- perform other duties as assigned
