Job Requirements

- experience in a manufacturing environment
- strong communication skills

- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- experience in standardized work creation
- ability to perform station audits
- manual dexterity
- ability to lift up to 15 lbs
- willingness to wear personal protective equipment
- flexible to work night shift and fluctuating schedules

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma required, AA degree preferred
- strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and lead teams
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- highly motivated self-starter and team player
- must demonstrate safe work practices and attention to detail
- familiarity with lean manufacturing terminology and principles
- experience creating standardized work
- experience completing station audits
- process technician experience preferred
- flexibility to work fluctuating schedules if needed
Job Duties
- maintain on-the-floor manufacturing activities in a safe manner according to EHS policies and procedures
- ensure all quality requirements are met and team members adhere to them daily
- manage Oracle transactions and IOTs for material movement between plants and processes
- provide updates on unit findings with engineering and manufacturing teams
- perform cycle counts and manage inventory
- create, document, and sustain standardized work practices
- train and mentor technical team members using a hands-on approach
- report attendance, quality, or performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor
- run assembly team from a process standpoint and communicate issues with supervisor or manager
- identify non-value added waste in manufacturing processes and recommend cost-effective solutions
- perform other duties as assigned
