With over two decades of leadership in the global energy transition, Bloom Energy develops and deploys advanced solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolyzer (SOEC) technologies that empower critical industries such as data centers, hospitals, electric grids, manufacturing facilities, and utilities to thrive in an energy-intensive and rapidly digitizing world. The company has installed more than 30,000 fuel cell modules worldwide and partners with Fortune 100 companies and industry innovators to create sustainable energy abundance. Bloom Energy's commitment to collaboration, innovation, and bold thinking drives the continuous advancement of its cutting-edge technologies, enabling unparalleled reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in energy production.

The Manufacturing Team Lead role at Bloom Energy is an exciting opportunity to join the forefront of clean energy technology development. This position is based in Fremont, CA, and is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor. The Manufacturing Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining on-the-floor manufacturing activities to ensure they are performed safely and comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies. A key element of the role involves managing material transactions and movement between plants and processes using Oracle and IoT systems. The team lead will also engage with engineering and manufacturing teams to provide updates on unit findings and participate in cycle counts and inventory management to maintain accurate stock levels.

This role is critical in creating, documenting, and sustaining standardized work practices to promote process consistency and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Team Lead will train and mentor technical team members using hands-on methods to develop troubleshooting skills and technical expertise. They will be responsible for identifying waste within the manufacturing process and recommending cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and reduce non-value-added activities. The lead will manage attendance, quality, and performance issues by reporting them to the Manufacturing Supervisor and will oversee assembly teams from a process perspective, ensuring smooth operations. The position requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to lead and motivate teams effectively. The lead must also demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and detail-oriented work practices.

Shift work is required for this position, with hours from Thursday to Saturday and alternating Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $24.37 to $35.07 per hour, along with standard company benefits. Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair and equitable employment practices and compliance with all applicable laws. The company promotes a diverse and inclusive work environment where all qualified applicants receive consideration regardless of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
