The Concierge Security Officer role at GardaWorld in Des Moines, IA, is a full-time position focusing heavily on customer service and building meaningful connections with people. This position requires the officer to act as both a security presence and an ambassador of the client site, working primarily in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Operating on scheduled second and third shifts, the Concierge Security Officer is responsible for welcoming visitors, verifying identities, managing access control, and conducting regular patrols to ensure safety and security throughout the site. Clear communication through incident reports and direct interaction with visitors and staff is vital. GardaWorld supplies uniforms at no cost and supports employees through paid holidays, paid time off, medical and dental insurance, disability coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. The company encourages individuals with security, military, or law enforcement backgrounds, but also values those with exceptional customer service abilities and a readiness to learn. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and be authorized to work in the U.S. GardaWorld actively assists employees in obtaining necessary security licensing, which is a condition of employment.

Joining GardaWorld as a Concierge Security Officer provides more than just a job; it offers a promising career path where frontline workers can grow into corporate roles. The company proudly supports diversity and equal opportunity employment, ensuring a respectful and inclusive work environment for all employees.
