The successful candidate will take responsibility for cleaning and maintaining equipment and the facility, ensuring all machinery and plant structures like racks, windows, and walls are cleaned properly and in a timely manner. They will operate Clean in Place (CIP) and Clean out of Place (COP) systems, ensuring that all chemicals and supplies are properly tagged according to safety protocols. Accuracy in completing routine paperwork and data entry related to cleaning and maintenance activities is an essential part of the role.

Assisting machine operators by gathering production supplies, packaging materials, and loading equipment, such as dumping boxes and lifting stacks of cardboard, will be required. The role also includes hand-packing, hand-stacking products or cases onto pallets, and safely operating equipment like cardboard balers and bottle baggers. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the safe disposal of outdated products following established guidelines.

The position demands flexibility to work any shift as needed, strong planning and organizational skills, and effective oral and written communication abilities. Meeting deadlines with limited supervision and being self-motivated and self-directed are critical job requirements. The candidate must be at least 18 years old and able to work safely around ingredients and finished products that may contain food allergens. Compliance with food safety and quality principles is mandatory.
