At Johanson Technology, innovation and quality are at the core of their operations, supported by a talented workforce and advanced manufacturing technologies. The organization values employee development and offers a supportive environment committed to occupational health and safety, diversity, and inclusion.

The Manufacturing Mixer Operator role at JTI in Camarillo, CA, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable company that drives excellence in the electronics manufacturing industry. The position is responsible for accurately following specific formulations to mix and mill dielectric materials using various milling machines, including ball mills, hock mills, and bead mills. This role contributes significantly to JTI's production process by ensuring high-quality mixing of materials which is critical for the performance of the final ceramic capacitors and related components. Operators are also expected to support the casting process periodically, enhancing the workflow and product quality. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a competitive wage between $19.00 and $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. The work schedule extends from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In this role, the Manufacturing Mixer Operator will engage with multiple departments such as Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Supervisory leads to ensure daily production goals and quality standards are met. The operator must handle procedures such as weighing materials and chemicals, setting machine timers, and using specialized analytic equipment to verify content properties. Personal safety and equipment maintenance, such as cleaning spills and adhering strictly to proper personal protective equipment requirements, are fundamental to this position. Working comfortably with a full mask respirator is crucial, given the chemical environment context.

This job is ideal for candidates with a high school diploma or GED who have experience in a manufacturing or chemical handling environment and possess basic computer and math skills. Preferred candidates will have at least six months of manufacturing experience, particularly involving measuring and mixing chemicals, operating semi-automated machinery, and possibly experience in a clean room environment.
