The Manufacturing Coordinator role at Graphic Packaging International is based in Clarksville, Tennessee, within a foodservice cup forming manufacturing operation. This hourly position begins at a wage of $20.12 per hour, increasing to $21.33 per hour after 12 months. The Manufacturing Coordinator will primarily focus on the recruitment and hiring processes for hourly production and manufacturing staff. This involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting phone interviews, scheduling onsite interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts alongside department managers and supervisors. Additionally, the role supports operational needs including event coordination, communication management, and executing tasks assigned by leadership.
The Manufacturing Coordinator serves a vital function in ensuring Clarksville's manufacturing location maintains an effective and motivated workforce by sourcing qualified candidates and supporting employee evaluations. The position demands excellence in administrative and communication skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment. Working hours are typically 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime available as needed. Training is provided by management, and the employee will report to the Human Resources Business Partner and other members of the Leadership Team.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of two years of office or professional experience, with strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks are essential. The role also requires physical capabilities related to standing or walking up to 10 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and working in different temperature and humidity conditions, with or without accommodation. Job Requirements
