Kerry is currently hiring Manufacturing Associates for Blenders on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, Manufacturing Associates for Batchers and Blenders on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, and Sanitation Associates on the 2nd and 3rd shifts at their Sturtevant location. The roles offer a competitive hourly wage of $23.00 with an additional shift differential of up to $2.00 per hour for second shift and $1.50 for third shift, making these positions financially attractive. Employment is on-site and requires candidates to schedule an interview in advance, as walk-ins are not accepted. The work environment includes both food manufacturing plant and warehouse settings, where associates play an integral role in maintaining production quality and safety standards. Responsibilities involve operating blending and batching machinery, performing sanitation tasks, and supporting production schedules to ensure smooth operations. The positions require physical stamina to complete continuous standing or walking shifts of up to 12 hours, lifting or carrying loads, climbing stairs or ladders, and working in conditions that may include hot, cold, wet, or dust-filled environments. Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job
  • Basic computer experience
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions
  • Previous manufacturing and blending operation experience preferred
  • Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment preferred
  • Previous experience with scanners/RF guns preferred
  • Working conditions include food manufacturing plant and warehouse environment
  • Ability to kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work
  • Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments, environment may be dust filled at times
  • Ability to lift continuously
  • Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule
  • Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day
  • Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 12 hours
  • Ability to climb stairs or ladder
  • High school diploma/GED required
