The Host/Cashier role within the Manhattan Deli team at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about guest service and hospitality. Job Requirements
- 6 months of previous cash handling experience
- ability to multitask work with the public in a fast-paced environment
- good interpersonal communication skills
- strong attention to detail
- knowledge of POS systems
- good basic math skills
- understanding of proper phone etiquette
- ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification
- must adhere to all grooming standards, no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors

Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests upon their arrival
- count and ring in all guests
- clean register and entrance area
- seat guests meeting their desire for a booth or a table while taking into account proper station rotation
- manage wait list, taking into account any reservations
- answer phones
- decrease expenses through proper handling of product
- increase revenue through proper upselling of beer, wine, and alcohol
- know, understand and follow all company and departmental policies and procedures
- assist guests with all needs while exceeding their expectations
- keep supervisor informed of all guest concerns and comments at all times
- show willingness to work as part of a team
- ensure guest satisfaction with a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude
- other duties as assigned by management
