The employment opportunity is for the role of Managing Partner, also referred to as General Manager, a pivotal leadership position within the company. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, as the Managing Partner is essentially running their own restaurant. They are responsible for overseeing all facets of operations to ensure that both Legendary Food and Legendary Service standards are consistently met. The Managing Partner leads the management team and holds ultimate responsibility for compliance, food quality, cost control, employee development, and customer satisfaction. This position involves enforcing employment policies, directing management schedules, conducting performance evaluations, hiring team members, and overseeing financial performance including food, labor, and liquor costs. The Managing Partner also ensures compliance with liquor laws, safety standards, and security measures while maintaining the cleanliness and culture of the restaurant. Additionally, the Managing Partner manages budgets, inventories, and incentive programs, and acts as the primary liaison with vendors and support centers. Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years or more as a General Manager, Managing Partner, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service concept
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to problem solve and handle stress in a high-volume environment
  • Managing Partners are required to make an initial monetary deposit and enter into an employment agreement with Texas Roadhouse

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years or more as a General Manager, Managing Partner, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service restaurant concept
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Experience in managing budgets, inventories, and profit and loss
  • Knowledge of food safety and liquor compliance regulations
  • Ability to coach and develop employees
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a high-volume environment

Job Duties

  • Enforcing compliance with all employment policies with assistance from the management team
  • Directing work of management team including setting weekly schedules and assigning responsibilities to Restaurant Managers
  • Managing performance of management team including conducting weekly directionals, performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring management and hourly employees
  • Providing ultimate oversight over all food, labor, and liquor costs
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling labor costs
  • Managing weekly and monthly profit and loss statements
  • Planning, preparing, and overseeing inventories and budgets
  • Verifying audit, ESF, daily Taste and Temp, and training standards are maintained
  • Overseeing cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Enforcing appropriate security measures to maintain safety of employees and guests
  • Overseeing incentive programs for management and hourly staff
  • Facilitating development and training of key employees and managers
  • Practicing and managing safe food handling procedures
  • Acting as liaison with all store vendors and support center contacts
  • Maintaining culture and core values of the restaurant every day
