The organization is also deeply invested in its employees, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit plans designed to support both employees and their families now and into the future. With a strong focus on continuing education and career advancement, Mayo Clinic provides numerous opportunities for employees to build long and successful careers within the organization.
Mayo Clinic operates multiple major campuses located in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida; Rochester, Minnesota; and various Health System campuses throughout Midwestern communities, as well as international locations. Each location fosters an environment where employees thrive professionally and personally, offering a unique workplace culture that blends innovation, compassion, and a patient-centered approach.
The role at Mayo Clinic focuses on providing hands-on leadership within Valet Operations, aiming to deliver safe, welcoming, efficient, and compassionate valet services to patients and visitors. This position is responsible for overseeing valet operations, working closely with Towne, the valet services vendor, to improve team performance, traffic flow, service recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role supports the parking and transportation leadership team in managing patient, visitor, and staff arrivals and departures.
Beyond valet services, this role collaborates with several other operational units such as Attendants & Information Desk, Logistics, Parking & Enforcement, Patient Transport & Escort, Telephone Operations, and Transportation Program units. The responsibilities include planning, organizing, and coordinating these units to deliver a cohesive and customer-focused service experience. The position involves budget management, staff scheduling, training, and compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards like OSHA, Joint Commission, and ADA, ensuring all operational processes meet the highest quality standards.
This leadership role demands a proactive approach to service excellence, requiring effective communication with customers to resolve issues promptly and acting as a key change agent within the team. Ongoing professional development, mentoring, and coaching are essential, as the role emphasizes strengthening team skills and fostering growth opportunities. In emergency and mass casualty situations, the individual in this role takes on a critical leadership responsibility to maintain patient services availability.
This full-time exempt position offers a competitive annual salary range from $82,908.80 to $124,467.20 and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday with weekends as needed, serving as a vital part of Mayo Clinic's operational excellence and patient care experience.
