Danone is a leading global food and beverage company committed to bringing health through food to as many people as possible. With approximately 5,000 employees and 13 production locations across the United States, Danone fosters a vibrant culture focused on innovation, sustainability, and wellness. The company is recognized as the world’s largest B Corp, reflecting its dedication to social and environmental responsibility alongside its business goals. Danone's portfolio includes some of the most well-known brands in the industry such as Activia, Silk, Oikos, and So Delicious Dairy Free, catering to a wide range of consumer needs, especially in the plant-based food and beverage segment. The company offers a hybrid work environment and competitive employee benefits, emphasizing physical, mental, and financial wellbeing to support its workforce.

The UX (User Experience) Manager role within Danone’s Research & Innovation (R&I) team is a pivotal position based in Louisville, Colorado. This role focuses on leading consumer and sensory research strategy for the plant-based food and beverage portfolio in the United States. The UX Manager will take ownership of the consumer and sensory research agenda, employing advanced category insights and consumer understanding to drive innovation and design strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, insights, and legal to ensure consumer-centric decision-making at every stage of product development.

This position requires strong strategic thinking and technical expertise in consumer and sensory research methodologies, with an emphasis on converting complex data into clear, actionable business insights. The UX Manager will lead initiatives such as ethnographic research, usage/user journey analysis, market trend evaluations, and quantitative research programs including preference modeling and design of experiments (DOE). The role demands the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels and inspire alignment on product pipeline priorities and innovation decisions.

Danone offers a salary range of $118,000 to $169,000 USD for this position, complemented by a performance-based bonus and an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, 401k plan, wellness programs, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, flexible time off, and paid parental bonding leave. The hybrid work model provides flexibility, requiring the candidate to work from the assigned office location at least three days per week.

In this leadership capacity, the UX Manager will be integral in driving Danone’s mission by championing an outside-in mindset, identifying emerging consumer needs, and delivering insights that enhance product taste and nutritional profile. Success in this role is defined by the ability to establish oneself as a go-to expert in plant-based consumer behaviors, influence strategic business directions, and lead consumer-embedded research that directly impacts innovation and product design strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven company at the forefront of the plant-based food sector, helping shape a healthier future for consumers worldwide.
