Known for its dedication to providing an exceptional and personalized guest experience, Rivet House Hotel features 50 beautifully appointed rooms and prides itself on blending elevated service with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel operates with a close-knit team environment that emphasizes quality, attention to detail, and the goal of creating memorable stays for every guest who walks through its doors. As a boutique hotel, Rivet House distinguishes itself by focusing on tailored hospitality that caters to both leisure and business travelers seeking comfort paired with a distinctive local experience.

The role of the Rooms Manager at Rivet House Hotel is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all front office operations to guarantee outstanding guest experiences and smooth daily functionality. This position requires a hands-on manager who excels within a boutique setting, values collaboration within the team, and upholds a passion for the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to the General Manager and supported by Old Edwards leadership, the Rooms Manager acts as an essential figure in maintaining high operational standards throughout the property.

The Rooms Manager’s key responsibilities include managing scheduling and payroll to ensure adequate staffing, controlling inventory and ordering necessary supplies, and training Front Desk Agents to maintain excellent service levels. This role also involves working closely with the housekeeping department to assure that all rooms meet the brand’s high cleanliness standards and are guest-ready. Handling guest complaints efficiently and maintaining brand standards across the property's appearance are critical components of ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the Rooms Manager plays an active role in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to support the hotel’s operational excellence.

This leadership position demands strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment, where attention to detail is paramount. The Rooms Manager will also provide on-the-floor support as a front desk agent when needed, ensuring smooth guest check-in and check-out processes. Confidentiality and discretion are vital traits for this position, as the manager will handle sensitive situations and confidential information regularly. Overall, the Rooms Manager serves as a cornerstone of the hotel's guest-facing operations, contributing significantly to the distinguished reputation Rivet House Hotel maintains within Athens and beyond.
