The Manager, Revenue Management role at Encore plays a critical part in optimizing the company's revenue streams through strategic pricing and discount optimization. The Manager is expected to lead pricing strategy formulation, manage annual pricing processes, and provide ongoing training and support to sales and operations teams.

This role requires the ability to evaluate financial impacts monthly, optimize discounting methods, and refine pricing models based on competitive landscape analysis and current business dynamics. The successful candidate will also provide leadership in change management to implement revenue management practices effectively and work closely with IT teams on system enhancements to support strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of revenue management or relevant business experience
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to influence cross-functional teams

  • experience with complex data analysis
  • proficiency in MS Excel
  • knowledge of Tableau or data visualization tools preferred

Job Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent with specialization in finance, business, engineering, or related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in revenue management or a relevant business function

  • ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision makers

Job Duties

  • Lead pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability
  • manage the annual pricing process collaborating with product management, sales, and operations leaders
  • perform monthly financial evaluations to assess price actions effectiveness and identify opportunities
  • develop, evaluate, and implement complex pricing strategies and models based on business and competitive dynamics
  • manage pricing procedures and train team members on pricing activities
  • provide training and support to sales and operations teams on revenue management best practices
  • lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives addressing pricing and discounting behaviors
  • plan and execute key revenue management projects in partnership with stakeholders
  • provide change management leadership to implement revenue management practices
  • work with IT to implement system enhancements supporting initiatives
  • manage discount approvals ensuring adherence to guidelines
  • manage analytics and reporting of key revenue management metrics
  • provide analytical support for strategic decisions on products and discount thresholds
  • establish demand curves and evaluate price elasticity across customer segments and markets
