The role offered is a key management position within Bloomingdale's Restaurant team. This is a career-oriented opportunity designed for seasoned professionals with substantial experience in full-service restaurant management. The individual selected will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of managing the restaurant, including scheduling, compliance with attendance policies, purchasing of food and supplies, catering coordination, financial management including payables and receivables, profit and loss planning, menu development, and promotional activities. The position demands a hands-on leader capable of ensuring outstanding customer service and consistent product quality. It calls for a manager who can effectively supervise and direct staff in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, make strategic staffing decisions, and engage with customers regularly to elevate their experience.

A successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience managing full-service restaurants, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the agility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. The role involves multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year institution and may have culinary experience as an added advantage. Conversational Spanish skills are also considered a plus in this position. The manager will support and motivate a diverse team of food service associates, lead independently, and ensure that the restaurant achieves its service level goals.

Physical requirements for this role include prolonged periods of standing and walking, occasional reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping, frequent use of computers and handheld devices for transactional purposes, and the ability to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
